Mother of 6 camp

Hello Again!!! Today I complete my Mother-of-6 class

I've had a lot of fun and have learned a lot! I've always wanted 6 kids, so this was a great preview for what that might be like and also great practice. Throughout my life, Heavenly Father has been teaching me that Family is our greatest source of happiness. Not only can this be appreciated in one's own family but in those of other's as well. It has been really fun watch the kids play together. Frazer has been so awesome at entertaining Maya on the swing.

Also, I am learning alot about cooking. As you all know, I am not exactly culinary. Odd and funny things happen when I am mixed with a kitchen. Here are a few more examples:

Yes this is a Waffle

If you're not sure what this is, you're not alone.... it is hashbrowns. No, seriously, it is! I have no idea why they turned grey and revolting. The nicest part throughout all of this has been having Quinn around to help me. Not only has he driven 40 min.'s here and back each day, but he helps a lot when he's here. The girls love him, especially because he plays with them so much.I love ths video of him dancing with the girls. My favorite part is when he figures out that I'm filming and runs off :) I love that guy!

I am currently on my next project of figuring Moms out. I am taking care of six kids for 5 days while their parents are on a trip. Today is Day 3 and all seems to be well. The first day I tried cooking a frozen pizza and somehow the middle fell out of it onto the bottom of the oven!! Later that night, one of the cabinet doors is mysteriously broken, hanging on by a hinge.... still not sure how that happened. The only odd thing that happened yesterday is that somone got a bloody tooth caused by blunt force trauma from someone else's head. Anyways, aside from learning that you have to be a little bit crazy to be a really great parent ( that way that can't make you that way because you already are!) I've learned that it can be a lot of fun :)

Tons and Tons of thanks goes to Quinn! He is amazing... I'm finding out more and more about that everyday.

I have really enjoyed spending time with these kids. Each one of them is so wonderful! All are very helpful, responsible, and kind...wahoo! I've spent the most time with the two little ones Maya & Frezer. They like to dance together and push eachother on the swing. The first day I was up here, Frezer had to get 3 shots in her leg. She was less than thrilled as one could tell by her bawling and eventual screaming. It was so cute to see little Maya at her side bawling too. Afterwards they held eachother while they cried. I wish I had taken a picture!

Aside from the kids, I'm still trying to get better from being sick. I'm on round 2 of anti-biotics and these are serious HORSE pills! They're huge!....just like my tonsils :) I've also been battling bouts of extreme exhaustion which seem to have gone away for the most part....now i'm just left with swollen tonsils and neck and headaches.

Speaking of headaches! My online classes are a pain! Well...they're not too bad....but I recently decided that I detest reading other people's critiques on other people's poetry. How boring!!!! Wish me luck people :)

Hello Everyone from the Land of Utah!

I figure I can start writing my adventures in here. Well...the story begins with me being sick 2 weeks ago....fevers, sore throat, exhaustion, headaches, bodyaches etc. It was all I could do to even get my room packed up to head to Utah.

Quinn was nice enough to help me load my truck up....( He offered to help me pack too, but I was too prideful, I guess.)

So we left at 4:00 in the morning! This seemed really early because I had only gotten two hours of sleep that night due to a fever. Well, we headed on down the road....ha ha I could barely see straight. Quinn was right behind me and his aunt & uncle were just ahead. Quinn's Kia had a hard time making it up hills and got left in the dust a lot :)

Well, Quinn's aunt offered to drive my truck for me...so I sat with Quinn in his car. That was so kind of her because I was really feeling sick at that point. Well we eventually made it to Provo. I immediately moved in with my friends Krista and Ashley in Springville which is 12 minutes from BYU. Sweet!
